Are you always hungry? (Part Two: Emotions)

Hey guys!

Today I want to talk about emotional eating as part two to this post. This is so hard to overcome because you have to look beyond food. I can’t tell you how to fix it. This is a time to start that journey to get to know and love yourself. Howvever, I wanted to talk about some tips and appetite vs. hunger.

I am NEVER one to say restrict your hunger, ever ever ever. There are some people though who still struggle with appetite vs hunger. Hunger is that human drive that you need food. Your body is hungry and needs fuel to keep on. This should never be ignored, IMO. On the other hand there is appetite. Appetite is that desire to eat for usually other reasons. Someone brings food to the office and you get a smell of something delicious and then you want food. Your around people eating candy and then you want food. That’s appetite. Sometimes the fun to give in to appetite and I don’t think it should be ignored either. Sometimes though learning to ask yourself “do I really want/need food now” is helpful. Learning to discover WHY you are eating before just eating every good smelling thing. Sometimes the answer is I’m hungry or I want to enjoy company but sometimes the answer is I don’t know why I’m eating.

So moving on here are some tips to help when you can’t stop eating for reasons that aren’t physical. Please don’t use these to restrict when your hungry👍🏼.

1. Eat healthier options: If you’re still really struggling this is definitely going to be the best option. Try and keep trigger foods out of the house (until you feel more balanced) and bring in things to munch on when those feelings arise. Have carrots, salsa, air popped popcorn, apples, rice cakes, etc. Things that are light and healthy as a transition period while your trying to work on emotions.

2. Go run an errand: This can really help. Go to the bank, the store, wherever. Just go run a quick errand and you’ll probably be less munchy when you get back. If you’re still hungry eat a healthy snack.

3. Go on social media: AKA the perfect way to kill time. 😜

4. Call someone: Sounds clique but it works. You don’t have to tell them why you’re calling just catch up, ask about them.

5. Write: I LOVE writing…books, songs, journaling. Escape into a new world for a bit.

If this is something you struggle with I highly recommend The Body Book by Cameron Diaz. Don’t judge because a celeb wrote it, haha, it’s a GREAT book!

From my friend at randemoss.com, another GREAT resource!👌🏼

I hope this helps! Have a great day😊 ~ Aubrey

Do you or have you struggled with thise? What helped/helps you?

Zit Zappers💥

Hey guys! So no matter how clean you eat or how well you take care of your skin inevitably you get a zit at some point. And they suck!!!

This post is to give you some of my top zit zapping techniques. 😜

*Click the pictures for the links*

1. I swear by this stuff!!!! (Warning: it is not natural at all but I only use a little bit rarely and it works so well. If this isn’t for you go to the next one). It’s by Clean and Clear and you just dab a little on the zit and literally gone the next day! It stings a lot so be warned haha!

2. Use a clay mask.  Mix it wth apple cider vinegar and peppermint essential oil (just a little!). Your face with feel so fresh and clean.

3.  Use an aspirin mask on the zit.

4. Use Witch Hazel on the zit.

5. Don’t wear makeup (at least face makeup) until the zit is gone. Makeup and a ton of product will make it a lot worse. It really will!

6. Change your pillowcase. Your pillowcase collects lots of germs and such so you want to change it fairly often but change it that night when your skin is acting up.

I hope this helps!!!!

Which of these will you try? ❤️

7 Breakfast Ideas with Veggies! (Vegan too!) ❤️

This should be a fun post! 😀

Here are ten ways to get a breakfast that is delicious and has vegetables!

1. Tofu scramble: sauté sprouted tofu of the new hemp tofu with coconut oil and tumeric. Once you get that going add spinach, peppers, tomatoes. Lastly add sea salt, get a side of fruit and bam!

2. Green Smoothie: Use the frozen zucchini trick I use in this post and make a green smoothie. I mean who doesn’t love smoothies?!

3. Breakfast Salad: Yep. It seems weird at first but replicate the flavors you use at breakfast and make a salad. For instance… try sweet potato/spring mix/maple syrup or chopped citrus/avocado/sunflower seeds/spinach.      veggiessss

4. Zoats

5. Breakfast Collard Wraps: Take a de-stemmed collard leaf and put two tablespoons of nut butter. Finally, put a banana with cinnamon and wrap it up. Yum.

6.Cauliflower porridge: This sounds weird too, but it’s like a breakfast take on cauliflower mash. Take a head of cauliflower and steam it. Then, add it to a food processor. When it is all nice and mashed up and hot add raisins, sweetener of choice, nut milk, and pecans. SOO good.

7. Avocado Toast: Take two slices of ezekiel bread and toast it. Add avocado and romaine or kale leaves to the toast. Finally, drizzle in a olive oil/stevia/sea salt dressing. Serve with a side of fruit to balance out the flavors. SO good!

I hope this gave you some great breakfast ideas!

Share this so people can see how to get their breakfast veggies in and comment below when you did. If I get 50 likes on this post I’ll do a giveaway:D

5 Ways to Cleanse Your Liver Daily

Ahhh, your liver.

That hard working little organ does SO much for you. It’s the reason all the toxic crap-ola doesn’t hurt you all the time. Too many of us are doing things that hurt the livers abilities to do its job (detox and much more). Also, if your not detoxing your skin will probably not be clear. If your support your liver you will definitely notice a difference in your skin as well.

Here are five ways to daily help out your liver:

1. Take a liver support supplement.  BY FAR my favorite is Healthforce Liver 5+. Very high quality and all herbal.

2. Eat a healthy amount of fat. I don’t mean restrict it but eat plant based fats and eat it in portion size.

3. Exercise, saunas, steam rooms…. Sweat, get other methods of detox working.

4. Drink liver support teas and herbal drinks made with milk thistle, dandelion, etc.

5. Lastly, eat more dandelion. I know it’s reallyy bitter but you totally get used to it. Juice it, blend it, massage it with olive oil/sea salt/ avocado. Last tip for dandelion is just use a little bit at a time.

I hope this helps!

What do you do daily to support your liver? ❤️❤️❤️💋
