7 Breakfast Ideas with Veggies! (Vegan too!) ❤️

This should be a fun post! 😀

Here are ten ways to get a breakfast that is delicious and has vegetables!

1. Tofu scramble: sauté sprouted tofu of the new hemp tofu with coconut oil and tumeric. Once you get that going add spinach, peppers, tomatoes. Lastly add sea salt, get a side of fruit and bam!

2. Green Smoothie: Use the frozen zucchini trick I use in this post and make a green smoothie. I mean who doesn’t love smoothies?!

3. Breakfast Salad: Yep. It seems weird at first but replicate the flavors you use at breakfast and make a salad. For instance… try sweet potato/spring mix/maple syrup or chopped citrus/avocado/sunflower seeds/spinach.      veggiessss

4. Zoats

5. Breakfast Collard Wraps: Take a de-stemmed collard leaf and put two tablespoons of nut butter. Finally, put a banana with cinnamon and wrap it up. Yum.

6.Cauliflower porridge: This sounds weird too, but it’s like a breakfast take on cauliflower mash. Take a head of cauliflower and steam it. Then, add it to a food processor. When it is all nice and mashed up and hot add raisins, sweetener of choice, nut milk, and pecans. SOO good.

7. Avocado Toast: Take two slices of ezekiel bread and toast it. Add avocado and romaine or kale leaves to the toast. Finally, drizzle in a olive oil/stevia/sea salt dressing. Serve with a side of fruit to balance out the flavors. SO good!

I hope this gave you some great breakfast ideas!

5 Ways to Cleanse Your Liver Daily

Ahhh, your liver.

That hard working little organ does SO much for you. It’s the reason all the toxic crap-ola doesn’t hurt you all the time. Too many of us are doing things that hurt the livers abilities to do its job (detox and much more). Also, if your not detoxing your skin will probably not be clear. If your support your liver you will definitely notice a difference in your skin as well.

Here are five ways to daily help out your liver:

1. Take a liver support supplement.  BY FAR my favorite is Healthforce Liver 5+. Very high quality and all herbal.

2. Eat a healthy amount of fat. I don’t mean restrict it but eat plant based fats and eat it in portion size.

3. Exercise, saunas, steam rooms…. Sweat, get other methods of detox working.

4. Drink liver support teas and herbal drinks made with milk thistle, dandelion, etc.

5. Lastly, eat more dandelion. I know it’s reallyy bitter but you totally get used to it. Juice it, blend it, massage it with olive oil/sea salt/ avocado. Last tip for dandelion is just use a little bit at a time.

I hope this helps!

What do you do daily to support your liver? ❤️❤️❤️💋

10 different forms of exercise + why I hate that word.

In a world full of exercise fads it’s easy to forget how many different ways there are to be active and what t really means. For instance the true definition of fitness is being able to get through the activities of daily living with energy leftover, for instance it’s not going to the gym for two hours but being exhausted after a shift at work. Interesting right?

I’m one of those annoying people who loveesss to “exercise” but only because I view it as a cool way to explore my body and learn new things. I never force myself to do anything, and that’s a great place to get to. Without further ado here’s ten fun ideas to mix it up, it doesn’t have to “cardio” or “lifting” all the time unless you love that:)!

1.  Roller blading. Take it back to childhood it’s so fun and your legs will kill!

2. Jump rope. Great cardio!

3. Hiking. Great cardio and nature is gorgeous!

4. Yoga and Pilates. It feels so good!!!! Ps. It’s not always just stretching too. Check out bananablondie108 her stuff is hard but still feels good.

5. Barre. Fun ballet inspired workouts.

7. Pole Dancing. It takes serious strength and beautiful.

8. Kettle bells. Soo hard and great way to mix it up from weights and build strength.

9. Biking. So fun to spin and explore the world for miles and miles.

10. YouTube workouts. Anything you could possibly want is on there. You can dance, jump, stretch, anything. I have a post on some great channels: here.

I hope this gives you some great ideas!

10 Tips for People with Gastroparesis

1. JOURNAL: Write down what you eat and how it makes you feel. Start a green (can eat as much as you want)/ Yellow (foods you have to moderate the amount for pain purposes)/ Red( can’t eat without pain). This is sooo important and helpful.

2. Check out Living Well with Gastroparesis. Crystal has tons of helpful info on her site.

3. “Eat your fruit, juice your vegetables.” The fiber in veggies is super hard to digest. I’ve found juicing my veggies to be super helpful. Normal Walker has a book on juicing that is fantastic for beginners. It you want to eat your veggies, try to stick with steamed spinach or the like to help with bloating. Fruit is super easy to digest. Peel your fruit and you’ll be feeling great:)

4.  Don’t just eat processed foods. I know fiber is tough to digest, and processed food is easy on the stomach. However, that still won’t make you feel your best. Use your journal to find what works for you. Some ideas are bananas, egg whites, yogurt, ezekial products, applesauce, rice, steamed greens, green juice, papaya, pineapple, rice cakes, avocado, and more. These are all healthy foods that are fairly easy to digest.

5. Reduce inflammation. I have tons of posts on this, but reduce inflammation can help your body to heal. Quick tips: Add tumeric, increase greens, add superfoods, eat more plant based and more.

6.   Stress Less. THIS IS HUGE! I know how tough this condition can be, but the more you stress over food and such the worse it will be. The connection between digestion and the mind is huge. Make meals special … light a candle, pray, and enjoy your food. Tension makes the meal much harder digest. If your overwhelmed wait a bit til you calm down then enjoy!

7. Laugh often!!! #thankyouellen 😉

8.  Do lots and lots of yoga twists. It feel fantastic. Just youtube “yoga for digestion” and/or “yoga twists”. Helps a lot during a flare up.

9. Eat smaller meals OR fast more. So this is one that is very individual. Some people do best to eat super small meals throughout the day(6-8x a day usually). Or eat calorie dense food, and intermittent fast. Make sure you get your calories!!!! But intermittent calories can be a helpful way to get calories but not digest food all the time so it’s less painful.

10. Nut butters are super hard to digest just saying. I LOVE NUT BUTTER, but with gastroparesis it’s so hard to handle. Just a tip. Try avocado, chia, flax, or coconut. ❤

If you have an active eating disorder it will mask itself as gastroparesis, because your body is not used to digesting food. If this is the case none of these tips apply, and please get the help you need<3

I sincerely hope these help.

With much love.

What tips help you guys out?
